Re-using MB

How long do MB last? Going in apr and want to re-use my band from nov 2013

You can use any band that is assigned to you, so long as you don't deactivate it in MDX (which you would have to do manually, so if you haven't deactivated it yourself it's still active).

They have batteries for the long-range sensors that are supposed to have a life of two to three years. The RFID chip would still function but not any of the long-range functions (like coordinating your ride photos to your account).

I believe they're supposed to be good for three years. But, in reality, who knows. Bring your old ones if you want...you'll have the new ones just in case.

This is good to know, we do have customized MBs for our upcoming trip but my kids both said that they wan to use their older ones. They will be happy when I tell them to pick the color they want .
