Re-Theme (and Redo) Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station?

Re-theme TTNS to Wall-E?

  • Yes, that's a great idea!

  • No, that's a silly idea.

  • No, but it should re-done another way.

  • No, they should just close the area off permanently.

Very simply, the idea I have is to close the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station and re-do it with a Wall-E/Axiom theme, serving smoothies, protein shakes, and the like. You know, as in "Lunch, in a cup!"

TTNS generally gets poor reviews, and this would fit in with the Tomorrowland theme, as well as leverage a recent movie.

Am I crazy, or is this not a bad pitch to make?

I like it! I have never heard a good thing about the Noodle Station, and half the time it's closed anyway. And I think this is a pretty clever idea

If the noodle station is anything like the lo mein they have the audacity to serve at other CS locales (Disclaimer: I have never seen the TTNS open), then I am all for a re-do. I don't care what theme, but Wall-E is cute and fits into the Tomorrowland theme well.

This was one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite to eat, well before it became the Noodle station. You were able to get a quick burger (usual Disney fare) and find a seat away from the crowds. Not anymore. The Noodle Station killed that nicely!!
I do like the Wall-E idea though.

I'm willing to bet my ds would want to eat there if the theme was Wall-E (may not actually EAT [my kids are extremely picky eaters])-- what do YOU think Faldred?

(hi honey:cutie: )

I like the Wall*E idea just not what you pitch to serve for lunch. :confused3

I dunno, every time I see (or hear, when it's playing in the car behind me) that movie, I get a craving for a "cupcake... in a cup!".

Seriously, any type of "filling" or "fun" beverage would work here -- smoothies, protein shakes, milk shakes, bubble teas, frozen soda (icee/slurpee), etc. I see it more as a snack service rather than a counter service in this pitch.

I think DS3 would be just fine with a smoothie, if we could get him to try. Telling him that Wall-E wants him to would probably work.

I like the WALL-E theme idea, but I actually enjoyed the food at TTNS - the egg rolls were yum :confused3

I've never seen the noodle station open either, and I love the idea of the Wall-E theme, so I think you should go ahead with the pitch!

Its a cute idea, I'm for it! Disney is always changing-i wouldnt be suprised if the newly refurbished Space Mountain has a Wall*E theme to it. I've never eaten there, but I'm sure people would more if a newer more popular character, liek Wall*E was there promoting it.:woohoo:

That place is in need of a total redo and a completely different menu...BLECH!
