anyone know when & where the pins go on sale?

I don't know when.

As to where . . . From my experience last year, the pins were available in the shop adjacent to Star Tours, and you had to ask for them! They were not on the rack. We actually left the attraction area without them (we were very new to pintrading and had no clue), and then asked a CM and went back to get them.

Based on last year's experience, they go on sale at park opening. Be careful who you follow, though...we were jogging behind a teenaged girl who veered off the path at the last minute - we thought she was jogging for pins but she was actually running for something else! LOL
