Re-pricing Resort total?

If we book a room at Disney World, & then we receive a discount pin or a bounce back offer(wishful thinking) or Disney discounts the cost of the resort during that time period, can the reservations be re-priced by Disney?

Absolutely! Just call Disney, and have them add the discount (pin code, general public discount, etc.) to your existing reservation--no need to cancel your original reservation and re-book. It's super easy!

I did exactly this when the room discounts were released a month or so ago. I saved hundreds of dollars with a single phone call!

Calling tomorrow! We had gotten pins the last two years prior to booking. I wasn't sure about booking prior to a possible discount. Thank you for your help

Yes, but only if the resort/room type you have booked is available under that discount. Disney releases discounts to fill rooms, so if your resort is near capacity before a discount is released, it most likely will not be included in the discount promo. I would suggest having a second choice in mind if, by chance, there is no availability for what you currently have/want.

Hi mickeynut1 and I totally agree. The room/resort type has to be available. I have to say that in 2010 my DH received 2 40% off codes and we also had a second choice just in case they didn't have any availability.

We were originally booked at BLT in a 1bdrm villa TPV and when I called I was able to apply one toward our 9 day stay but I had to take a LV instead. Oh like I was going to argue over that. We also had the YC GV room already booked but I was able to use the second code toward my mom/daughter trip that year as well. To our surprise when we arrived at the YC they upgraded us to a corner room with a water view. Boy I was a happy camper that year.

Hi there Coach . That is awesome about getting the two codes......and what a great upgrade at the YC .

I always have a hard time deciding on just 1 resort, but I usually try to have a back up just in case what I want isn't available. And more times than not, when I think my first choice won't be available and I get myself excited about my second choice, the first one is usually a go . I have been pondering on a resort for our July trip and I can't decide.......so needless to say I haven't booked yet ......but I'm kind of holding out and hoping for some pixie dust and get a pin code .
