? re new booking rules. When do I call? Update-I called!

Tomorrow I call for availability at 7 months for October 13, 14, and 15. I've already got s BCV studio for the 16th-22nd (was able to book those days at 11 months). When I call tomorrow, do the 3 days have to be at the same resort? What I'd like to do is get the 13th and 14th at AKV, then move over to BCV on the 15th. Can I do all 3 nights tomorrow, even though they're at 2 different hotels? Or is it best to try to get the 3 nights at AKV, then I have to call on the 15th to try to switch that 3rd night over to BCV?


Well, I called first thing this morning and had a choice of a standard view or savanna view in Jambo house (I wanted Jambo house). I'm not sure whether to try to move over to BCV on the 15th, so my split stay would be 2/7 or to stay at Jambo/AKV for 3/6. Until I decide, I won't call. And knowing me, by the time I decide, if I want BCV on the 15th, it will be too late. Either way is fine!

If you are not booking with home resort points, then you cannot book BCV until 7 months prior to check in day for that resort. -- Suzanne

I think you will have to book at AKL for all three days and then call back for BCV for the 15th on the 15th.

Two different resorts would be two different reservations and therefore, all dates would have to follow the 7 month rule.

Well, I think I've changed my mind now. I was able to get all 3 days at AKV Jambo house standard view, and I think that's where I'll stay-that is, unless I change my mind AGAIN!

I am calling at 9:00 am today at 7 month window...would love BWV but I know that's out (according to our availability thread) unless I split stay. Our 2nd choice is BCV for location, then in order: BLT, VWL, AKV, SSR, OKW. We are not renting a car, hence the resorts that are further away are lower on the list.

Maybe I will see you there! (Oct 14-22 - my birthday is 21st). We are leaving for Wonder 3 day cruise on 22nd.

I ended up with Bay Lake Tower, bay lake view. No availability at BWV (not surprised). BCV studio not avail on 10/18. I am not thrilled with the layout of the BLT studio, but we are going to give it a try!
