I wanted to know if Disney was to give any kind of deal/s and when would be the best time to book. I know you get great deals booking way in advance, but what about last minute deals, like from up to a month or even closer to the cruise date. Thanks for your input.

Occasionally you can see a reduced rate if its 1 or 2 weeks out. Mostly during off season. It doesn't happen often. DCL sails full on a regular basis.

Goofy41,
Hi neighbor. We went on the 4 day in Nov of 2001 with a pretty good last minute rate using Expedia. I think we booked about 1 1/2 months out. Don't know if this is the norm. We are taking advantage of Teachers conventions/NJ week this year and got a great rate on the 7 day Eastern with AAA, also got the $100 shipboard credit for booking with them during January-Disney month. Good luck.

You will occasionally see great deals in Jan. or Sept/Oct. These are generally made available when the ship is not filling up. If you see one, grab it fast! It might disappear in less than 24 hours!

They are always less than 2 months out....sometimes only a week or 2 out. Our "closest" booking was 2 days before sailing. NOt bad, considering I had a 16 hour drive to the port (hee hee)

I noticed that Disney has dropped the price to the lowest I have ever seen for the 1/29 3-night Wonder (my family of 4 can go for around $1200). This is about $175 less than I have ever booked a 3-nighter for! I found this price on expedia.com but it was also available on disneycruise.com. By the was this was for a cat 11 guar.
