I thought this would be the best place to ask this question. What is the re-hitching ceremony and what does it entail? My DH and I will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary and someone mentioned something called a re-hitching ceremony in one of the resteraunts and I thought this would be perfect since it is kind of like our honeymoon we'll be on despit having 4 kids in tow. We never had a honeymoon and are bringing our own babysitter so we can get out alone when we want.

I read something about special mouse ears? Perks? What is this? I ahve never been to WDW before so all of this makes it EXTRA special for me. Any help would be awesome!! Thank you!

this is a ceremony done in Garden Grill. when you call to make PS, you have to say it to the cast member that you want to have that ceremony. and when you arrive at Garden Grill, it is better to remind the cast member.
basically, at one point, all the cast member will go to your table, and they will ask you and your spouse to stand up, and they will count down to 100, then you will need to have a long kiss with your spouse.
at the end of the ceremony, they give you a cake (mickey shape) and a certificate signed by mickey and minnie
it is really cute and special :)

If I wanted to eat at the Garden Grill, would I need a ticket to get into Epcot? I know thats probably a stupid question but I really don't know.

We will be arriving on our actual anniversary and hadn't planned on getting tickets to the park that day but will be getting tickets for MNSSHP that night. We could eat before we go but probably not without a ticket right?

If you're going to eat at the Garden Grill, then yes you do need a ticket to EPCOT before you will be allowed in.
The only "stupid" questions are the ones you don't ask.
Have fun planning!

As for the question about the "special mouse ears and perks"...The ears are simply ears made up in bride and groom style...The brides has a veil and the grooms is a top hat. hen people wear them, CMs ask you howw long you've been married and stuff like that and sometimes are nice enough to give you a free dessert, or a car all your own on a ride.
