I just got off the phone to inquire about a couple of restaurants I was wondering about and the cast member I was talking to said that an email was recieved yesterday that they were no longer offering the Re-hitching ceremony at the Garden grill.

Bummer:(

I just got off of the phone with Disney dining and they said the Rehitching is still offered. I was inquiring about our Thanksgiving trip. :confused3

Now I am gonna have to call back. Somewhere on this board there was a post about Garden Grill being closed for rehab. The CM I talked to said no to that but no more Re- Hitching.

Thanks I'll work on this tomorow

goofydad621--

When is your trip? We will be at WDW 12/5-12/11 and I heard the same thing... no more re-hitching! Maybe they are stopping it after Thanksgiving (since janskin's post says that it was still being offered for their trip)? I wonder if I should call back?

our trip in starting Jan 20th - 29th

If you call please let me know what you find out.

Thanks Dave

I called and made my PS's and requested the rehitching ceremony and was told they are still offering it. We will be there December 23

Okay!
I made my PS's yesterday for 12/21 and was told NO REHITCHING! I questioned the CM and asked her to check with a supervisor - she said it is no longer being done!?!?!?!?

i think that the best thing to do would be to ask them when you arrive. the garden grille is still a great restaurant, with great food. so, when you get there ask them about it when you check in.

dh and i were there for our honeymoon in june and we did it there. when he told the cm on the phone about it when he was making ps, they said that they have never heard of it and that since he never heard of it, they must not be doing it any more. but when we checked in, the waitress did it for us. i don't understand why they wouldn't do it? it doesn't make any since. it is not like disney is losing money by doing it, unless they are not going to give out the "marriage certificates" anymore.

just ask them to note that it will be your anniversary or something on the ps, and then when you get there ask them about it. good luck!

I wanted to do this next year for our 10 year.

If anyone has more info, I'd be interested.

Thanks, Goldi
