My understanding is that if you enter the parks you are garenteed re-entry. I am not sure if this is only your original park or what happens if you have park hoped or want to park hop.
Does this mean that if you were denied re-entry due to crowds, that maybe you could try again an hour or two later and maybe get in? We're going at Christmas - I guess once we're in we need to stay put!
Thanks.
Disneyland closed 4 days last year due to max capacity, including Christmas Day. Sorry I don't have the dates for the other 3 days, but it was in between the 25th & the 31st. They closed for entry/re-entry for a 2-6 hour period, something like noon - 5pm ish. On the 31st, I wouldn't try to enter anytime after lunch. Disneyland is not a small park, everyone wants to be there for New Year's Eve! Last year's popularity is expected to continue this year. The "snow" at the Believe fireworks & the warmth in the music is the most magical thing I have ever encounted. The park is very Disney-like in atmosphere & intense in theming(sp?)
So, how are the crowds on New Years Day? I've heard that that is the best day to go, if you have to go that time of year. Anyone have any experience with New Years Day?
Last year on New year's day....packed, packed, packed....but NOTHING like New Year's Eve! So if you are there with the New Year's Eve crowds, the New Year's Day crowds won't seem so oppressive!
