This might be a very dumb question but here it goes. We are staying ar RPR for one night to take advantage of the express pass. Can we go to IOA for a few hours,go back to the hotel and return at night to continue thr rides at IOA ? I am thinking that WWoHP will look great at night.

Yes and that's one of the advantages to staying onsite. :thumbsup2

And you do not need to "check out" of the park or anything. Just your ticket and your finger print.

That is what we usually do, this year since we had the baby we usually went back to the hotel each day for naps, lunch, and relaxing and then headed over to the parks in the evening. One night we went late to WWOHP and we were able to see all the shops and have dinner, the castle looks really nice lit up at night.

Since we have alloted only one day for WWoHP before we go to WDW,we want to see the attraction and shops in the AM and PM.

BTW should we do Olivanders first and then the rides?

Does you require a park hopper option to leave MK and then come back later that day?

MK (Magic Kingdom) is in Disney. Universal and Disney are not affiliated. I think the OP was asking if they are visiting IOA in the am and want to take a break at their on-site hotel (either Royal Pacific, Hard Rock or Portofino Bay) if they will be allowed back in to one of the Universal Parks. Universal does offer "hopping" - they call it park-to-park. In other words, your Disney park hopper will not work at Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios theme parks.

As long as you have the park to park tickets you can come back as often as you like. There is no hand stamp...it's all on the biometric scan.

Even a base ticket will allow you to return to your park. If you got to IOA in the morning and then out to Citywalk for lunch, you can return to IOA. You can't flip between parks but you have in and out access to the one park all day. Don't you?

I would think so but it doesn't say that specifically on the website. I guess I was assuming the poster had more than the base day ticket or maybe I'm just confused all around.
