As it turns out we have a few points in limbo that can be neither banked nor borrowed and must be used... oh darn it! we were already taking a short trip 2/24/06 for business and staying at the doubletree near downtown disney. my question is if i wanted to use points at this late time where would i stand the best chance of getting a reservation?

I would think SSR or OKW since they are the larger resorts.

Just call MS, tell the CM your dates and ask what is available. You may be surprised at what is available, especially for the Friday & Saturday nights you want.

If you can, call before Christmas (the 60 day mark). At that time, DVC often sends unreserved point inventory rooms to CRO to rent to the general public for cash.

I booked at SSR for 25 Feb 14 nights in a one bed a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure they told me that all of the resorts were available except BCV, I was amazed. We booked SSR as we love it there.
