?? re December park hours

First, I already read the link to the 2002 park hours, I'm interested in how last years compares to previous years-typical or not? I'm especially wondering about Epcot-has it usually been open (WS that is) until 9:30 with Illuminations at 9:30? Also, would I be correct in figuring there won't be any Eride nights at MK in December?

Actually, last December there were two E-Nights, both of them took place the last week in December. Right between Christmas & New Years, which happens to be the busiest week of the year for Disney.

According to what I've read, Disney usually doesn't have E-Nights in December, last year was a surprise to everyone.

Illuminations is at 9:30 because the last Candlelight Processional does not end until around 9:00 (8:15 performance). We've gone the past 5 years and last year's hours were pretty typical for early December. MK closes early several nights because of MVMCP. MGM sometimes stays open later on weekends and has 2 Fantasmics. I don't recall an e-night any of the times we went.

I second all of what DebbieB posted.

There are never e-ride nights during the first half of December - MVMCP events are scheduled for nearly all of the times that e-ride nights would normally be offered.

As diznee25 posted, e-ride nights may be offered during the latter part of December, but if so, I'm sure that they will be for later in the evening (beginning at 9 p.m. or later). Park hours are usually extended during peak season.
