RDCT Fireworks & Fantasmic question - help :(

Ok so we are here at Disneyland today - yay ) it's our first day and only day to catch BOTH the Fireworks & Fantasmic!

I have a few questions :

1) how soon do I need to get to the Hub/ castle to get a good spot for the fireworks. We are with a toddler and the show is at 9 pm
2) I have reserved Fantasmic dessert boxes for the second show at 10:30pm. Where do i pick up the boxes from and how soon before the show ?

After they sit you down they will bring you the dessert box and ask for your drink orders. Also even though you have reserved seats there is still a line to pick your seats. I suggest getting to the line between 7:30 and 7:45 check in at 8:00 pick your seats then leave and go watch fireworks and then come back to Fantasmic.

One more thing if you can't get the front row seats then take the back seats not the middle seats. Sitting in the back you will be able to stand up or put your kids on your shoulders if you wanted to.
