Anyone stay at Lodges at Cresthaven? Looking to put in a trade for may 2010. When should I do this??

I've never stayed there, but I will guarantee you that Lake George is one of the most beautiful lakes in the U.S. I would stay in a trailer and be happy on Lake George!

If you want it you should start your search 2 years out to give yourself the best chance of success. I know nothing of the resort but the reviews and ratings are fairly positve though somewhat sparse the last 3-4 years or so.

I have not heard of that resort...but stay at Lake George every summer and would agree that it is gorgeous and makes for a wonderful vacation. That said, the part of the lake you visit determines the "climate" and you would want to know that going in. The south end by Lake George Village is fairly crowded with hotels and boat traffic. The north end is a lot of national park land and private homes and not crowded at all. I would be happy to answer questions if I can help at all!
