RCI reservation ? from clueless newbie

Hi,
I've been reading and reading all of the stickies and rules, etc. But remain completely confused. I'm not even sure I'm posting this in the right place.
And I really don't want to break any rules...

I'm an RCI owner with a reserved prime week at a DVC property within the next few months. I've done lots of research for past trips on these forums but am not really a poster as I do not know nearly as much as so many of you.

Since I'm not a frequent poster, I'm under the impression that I'm unable to post this week on the "for rent" boards, am I right about this?

If I am incorrect about the above question, how can I go about posting this week on the trade/rent board since it is an RCI reserved week, but at a DVC resort.

Can anyone guide me and help me? I'm so lost!!!

We do not allow RCI exchanges to be posted at all. It is generally against RCI policy to sub-rent an RCI reservation.

if RCI finds out, they will cancel the reservation and your membership.

i would rethink that plan entirely...just give it to a relative...
