rci point charts

so what is taking so long for DVC to fix the point charts.

they have II not RCI.

if DVC is going to RCI in Jan, 2009 - you would think DVC would be changing the points chart NOW.

I assume materials are still being prepared. Lots of lawyers to sign-off on things before they get in front of members.

It's a bit of a catch-22 for Disney. By releasing news of the new relationship before all of the materials are ready, at least Disney is giving us a heads-up. If they had waited 2 more weeks and published everything at once, the response would have been "Why didn't Disney tell us about this sooner?!?!"

I don't believe RCI will even begin speaking to members until after Jan 1 so DVC still has time.

I believe that tjkraz has hit the nail on the head. I talked with MS on Wednesday as I have developer points that I wanted to exchange with. I was told that they (MS) were only informed on Tuesday about the move and are still waiting on further guidance as to the transition. I was told that I should call back within a week of the change over and they would have more info then. MS is still unsure of how the DP's are going to work as the contracts specifically state that exchanges are to be used with II.
