Looking for some new living room furniture and I am interested in anyone's experience with sales, customer service and the actual furniture quality from Raymour and Flanigan.

I bought a couch from them that was absolute crap. It's a wreck after a couple of years. Next time I'll spend a little more at a local store that sells quality stuff.

We have 14 year old couches that are in great shape. We have 4 year old ones that are in mediocre shape, so I'd guess it depends on which manufacturer you choose. (both sets bought at R & F)

As for the store and customer service, no complaints. We did the no interest programs both times.

They will negotiate price. I found one LR set that I liked at a Ct. store. For the pieces I wanted it was on sale for $2699,plus tax. delivered. I got Raymour and Flannagan down to $2350 plus tax and delivery. I ended up buying the exact same thing, same fabric, etc from N. Carolina, everything included, $1879. If you buy at Raymour and Flanagan, negotiate the price.

Boy, I wish I knew you could negotiate the price before I spent $5,000 on a new family room set in December!

I really like their furniture though - good selection and delivery within a few days.
