Please share your experiences on the Teacups ride:

I'll start.
I thought it gave me an anurism. I havent been "right" ever since.

my favorite from childhood!

I LOVE the teacups! What more can you say than you round, and round, and round, and round, and round, and round......

I haven't been on it in several years as nobody in my family or my girl will go on it, even if I promise to not spin the spinner thingy at all. Oh well.

I absolutely-hands-down:LOVE the teacups.
I can't wait for my next trip so I can ride them again-and-again-and-again-and-well you get my point. ;) (even if I have to ride them alone)

There is the picture my mom took of me, dh, and our children on the teacups. It is absolutely the happiest picture ever taken of us. The most joyous expressions are on each of our faces. I think that picture says it all for us for this ride.

It is fine unless your teenage son is spinning it at fast as he can and ignoring your ordering him to stop.

I rarely ride them because they have a long line and my parents don't do spinny things. I did ride them once during the fireworks and it was very fun.

I LOVE them, and DD seemed to like it, too. DH hates the spinning, but he goes on with me anyway. :)

Love this ride. Or maybe it's that I love watching my kiddos on this ride. Rode 4 times this past trip. Last ride was me and both kiddos who were trying to make mama dizzy. TOO CUTE. Their giggling and laughter, brings tears to my eyes. The whole reason to be in the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH. ;)

When I was little, I loved the teacups.

Though it does not make me sick, now looking at how slow they load and unload and the line that accumulates, I skipped them last trip and will probably skip them again.

Also, if I want a "teacup" like ride experience, I can go to my local amusement park (Enchanted Village in Federal Way, Washington or the Puyallup, Washington Fair--for those of you who are Washingtonians, you know where I'm talking about :thumbsup2 ) and ride teacup like vehicles which also move up and down on a platform. I think these are hilarious and do not bother me, but I've made plenty of friends motion sick on these in my adolescence.

Apparently I am the minority here as I am not a fan of this ride at all. Usually I refuse to ride it (minor motion sickness sufferer here....I don't do rides that go around & around, & around) but on our last trip the kids somehow convinced me that we all should go on it. :confused3 So....seeing as it was our first day in the parks & I was feeling rather excited about everything, I gave in & on we all went. Did I ever regret that! lol I was queasy for hours afterwards & my DS was so nauseated, he asked to go back to the hotel  He felt that way for most of the night. We rode it later in the evening thank goodness. NEVER again (but for real this time!!! lol)!!!
