Rate for GF 1st week of December

Does anyone remember if they offered the $199/night at the GF last year during the 1st week of December?

Curious too. I booked 12/6-14/03 at $289 + tax (Disney Club/Dream Maker Pkg). Would like to transfer to AP rate when available. Agent did say GF was booking fast for December.

I think they had the $199 rate in 2001, since bookings were way down. I can say that a few years ago, our rate was $262 with tax for GV the first week of December. Rack rate was $294+tax.

I can confirm the $199 rate for the first week of Dec02. And it wasn't even AP. It was a regular code that anyone could use. I heard the AP rate was actually $5 or $10 less.

Yes, most codes for that time of year in 2002 were the same as in 2001. I really don't know what to expect for this year. But my hunch is a $10 increase -- $209 for GF, $189 for Polynesian for "everybody" codes. I think you'll still be able to get $199 with an AP code.

We got the $199/night rate last Dec - our first time staying at the Grand Floridian and we LOVED it!!! What a wonderful time to stay there - the Christmas tree in the lobby was breathtaking!!!

We checked in the Thursday AFTER Thanksgiving - and it was just the special rate they were offering (not AP).
