Rate clarification for the Swan needed

We are planning a trip to WDW in August 2005 and are thinking about the Swan. I read about the Govenment rate and would like clarification if possible. My husband works at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as a computer programer and is paid by the State of North Carolina and has a University ID...would he qualify then for the Swan government discount?
I was thinking yes but thought I would ask the experts...thanks much

Have fun planning and I hope you enjoy the Swan. We loved our stay last summer. We had a jr. suite with balcony in the east wing (a comp upgrade) - awesome. We will be returning this summer but staying at the Dolphin.

I love the planning part. This trip is a gift for my graduation from College and we just realized it's also my DH's 40th birthday celebration. And because it is an August trip it is also a good way to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. So we thought the Swan sounded beautiful and we have never stayed at an Epcot Resort '
With all the special celebrations the Swan sounded perfect.

hE PROBABLY WOULD QUALIFY FOR TEACHER'S DISCOUNT ALSO. i AM A FACULTY MEMBER AT A COLLEGE AND JUST HAD TO SHOW MY ID AT CHECK-IN. TEACHER'S AND GOVERNMENT RATE ARE SAME. i USED IT TO STAY AT SWAN 12/27-1/02/04 AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
