Leaving for DLP tomorrow. Question, should we head over to the Studios and go on this first? Is it on Fastpass? Do we book Fastpasses at the parks (like the old WDW method?)

Last question, is Chez Remy a "must do" restaurant? Could we do an early dinner and then head over for Dream Fireworks?

Does anyone have a strategy to get both Crush and Ratatouille rides without long wait time? We will be trying to do both parks in one day.

Thank you for any help!! We appreciate it!

Definately go for ratatouille first to get a fastpass. They will be gone in an hour! Then go to crush. The crowds must be lower now that the rat has opened!

I would book Chez Remy before you get there, appears to be very busy at the moment.

Crush was still an hour when I was there, during Ratatouille soft openings, don't know if Ratatouille made a difference. Definitely get the Rat FP first. DLP seems to give out MUCH fewer FPs than other Disney parks. Use single rider later on.

As for Chez Remy, it's a neat place to walk into and look around, but the food is insanely overpriced, even for Paris. The steak is skirt steak, very low quality. The ratatouille looks nothing like in the movie, or even the ride. Heck, you can practically see the CGI ratatouille dish from the restaurant, but what you get is totally different. If you have half board, do it, if you're paying the $56 out of pocket, I can't recommend it.

And as for single rider, when I was there, regular line for Crush was posted 60, single was 50. BUT, they do that purposely to keep folks out of the single rider. Actual wait was 25. It worked out pretty consistently that there was 1 person used every minute from the single rider. So count the number in it, and that's the wait. It is a fun little coaster. And being back facing at teh beginning gives you a better view of most of the effects. It didn't spin much, thankfully, because I don't like spinners.

One other tip. I am working on a large TR, but am not done yet. I had read how great Animagique was. It is not. It's very dated, from the years when Lion King and Mermaid ruled. It has a lot of things stolen from the old LK show at MK, and the Little Mermaid show at the Studios. And wasn't really worth the time, unless you can pop in right before they close the doors.

And Armaggedon. Wow, I don't see how it ever existed. The only redeeming factor was how close they let fire get to the guests.

Oh, and FPs don't expire at DLP!!! But you will probably only get 1 or 2 anyway.
