Rasulo and Staggs to switch jobs

Tom Staggs, the highly regarded chief financial officer of Walt Disney Co. and close associate to Disney CEO Bob Iger, is trading places with Jay Rasulo, the head of Disney's parks and resorts business.

Potentially positioning Staggs for his long-coveted role as president of the Walt Disney Co., the new job gives him the operational experience that he has lacked.

Hmmmm....A number cruncher running the parks division???? Doesn't sound like a good switch for us park fans.
I like to think I'm a "glass is half full" kind of guy, but this doesn't seem right.

Jay Rasulo has been terrible for the parks. Not sure if Skaggs could be worse.

It cannot be a coincidence that this announcement is made the same day Disney releases its fourth quarter and fiscal year earnings reports.

It probably just means change for the sake of satiating the wolves of Wall Street but only time will tell. Well, maybe it isn't "just" change for the sake of change.
