Rarest character you've met

I dont know if this counts cause it was back in the day when they were popular but when I was a kid Esmeralda, Quasimodo, Pocahontas, Flick, Doug, Patty Mayonnaise, The Beast (I havent seen him in Disney the past three trips whats up with that is he not popular :confused3 or what?!) recently Mushu was out once that was fun, saw Prince Phillip in Epcot once, saw Tarzan, Jane, and Turk. And who can forget the DISNEY TATTOO GUY! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:only joking not an actual character  but still really cool :thumbsup2

I suppose the rarest characters I've ever met were in Disneyland - Miss Bianca and Bernard :lovestruc and in DisneyWorld - the Girl Mice from Cinderella princess:. I guess I just attract cute rodents....it's a gift! Alltime WISH to meet - Jiminy Cricket...I could use an external conscience sometimes! :littleangel:

Beast is very popular, just got back from a trip yesterday. Thankfully we were in line to meet him and Belle early. By 15 minutes until he was to appear the line was closed. Belle actually came out to the line to visit with people until Beast arrived because no one was there to see just her; everyone wanted to visit Beast.

I'd love to meet any of the characters from Robin Hood. I still don't understand why Friar Tuck, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Prince John are occasionally out and about but never Robin Hood. :confused3

Good observation - and its always been this way, even in the 70-80s. And Little John and Maid Marion were tougher than Robin.

The best shot to find Robin Hood was when he appeared with Prince John at the Swan Garden Grove character dinner a few years ago.

Out of the characters I've met, the rarest ones include:
Kronk, Esmeralda, Meg, Merlin, Belle's Prince (human form), The King, Grand Duke, Darkwing Duck, Meet the Robinsons characters (Bowler Hat Guy, Wilbur, and Lewis), Sebastian, and Flounder

One more.

I'm very jealous of all of you lol, anyways for me it's probably the two brother bears koda and kenai, they were not rare at the time but now they have stoped doing meet and greets, hopefully they will be out in the futur. :)

Some of the rarest:

Have met a lot more that are pretty rare for the US parks but are fairly common overseas (Robin Hood, Three Little Pigs, Jack Sparrow, etc, etc)

Being an adult with 2 brothers in tow , all in our 40's we don't go so much for the character meetings :)

Saying that does meeting the Cpatain of the Wonder on it's inaugural cruise count? :)

As far as proper Disney Characters go on said same cruise whilst on the Glass Elevator one day i was joined by Pluto , just the 2 of us in the lift , it was a bit surreal :lmao:

I've seen Koda at Camp Minnie Mickey several times over the last couple months..looks like he is coming back :) Haven't seen Kenai yet though.

We have a great pic with the evil queen from snow white in her old hag form with the apple. Don't know if she's rare or not, don't really care, loooove the pic!

My absolute fave though is my shot with Maleficent. My first time catching her I was SO excited but we had an issue with our sd card and lost the shot...I got to retake it at this past MNSSHP and it made my night! :lovestruc

I have a great picture with Goliath from Gargoyles from 2004. Only time in all my trips that I've seen him. I also have pics with Robin Hood (my favorite Disney movie) and met Prince John when he was part if the Villains meet & greet.

For us it was Bullseye and the Seven Dwarfs. We met them at MNSSHP in Sept. We knew the dwarfs were rare. We stood in line for almost 45 min to meet them. DD was in her Snow White costume, we had to.

Bullseye was in the Diamond Horseshoe dance party with Jessie and Woody. Everyone was lining up early for the parade so we had the place almost to ourselves. There were maybe 3-4 other kids in there the whole time. DD loved it!

ETA: We also saw the Snow White queen, but the witch version with the apple at the party. We waited in line but after a couple of minutes she left to go on break and we didn't feel like waiting for her to come back. I was 9 weeks pregnant at the time, so not feeling very well. I could kick myself for missing pictures at the dance party.

Based on the list, the rarest character I've ever met would be Mushu. I took DD to WDW for her fifth birthday, and on our last afternoon we went to Epcot to see Jasmine since DD hadn't gotten her autograph yet. As we were walking around World Showcase to leave the park I saw Mulan and convinced DD to get one last autograph. Mushu was there, as well.
