Rare Character

I've got one for you- I'm not sure of an exact starting date, but some time this summer, keep an eye out for the debut of Clarise! Don't know who Clarise is? She's from an old Chip and Dale short called "Two Chips and a Miss." She's the flirty female chipmunk that both Chip and Dale fall in love with. :)

I know who she is :goodvibes

I wouldn't sit by the toon town trainstation all day. that area is only used as a training location which is why two rabbits were seen at the same time.

Brer bear can be regularly found at the Oasis at Animal Kingdom, thats just before you enter the park. Occationaly Launch pad as well.

Figment is no longer used for the simple fact that the costumes have been damaged and the company hasn't decided if it's financialy sound for them to invest to get them repaired. there are only two.

Brer Fox is in training and will make his apperance soon at Splash Mountain.
Same for Jack Sparrows at Pirates

Brer Rabbit can be seen regularly at the Fronteer Land Hoedown and the animal kingdom parade.

I would also like to point out that the Princess room at Toon Town has changed names. It is now called the Story book room. You could possilby meet a prince in there. It's never a definite so you should check it out. I know charming and philip have been there the last few days.

Thanks for the updates. As always you have great information for us all! Interesting about Figment - poor Figment. I hope they fix him!! We love Figment!

Put me down for another Sora Vote! If we make it to MNSSHP this year, that will be my costume! (If I can talk DW into making it anways!)

HugsForEeyore has a really great Sora picture on their site (along with MOST other characters!): www.wdwautographs.com

My kids would love to see a Dash & Violet from Incredibles!

I can't seem to find Robin Hood - it seems like Friar Tuck & Prince John are everywhere, but we can never find Robin!

I'd like to see some Hunchback characters as well - especially Quasimodo & Esmerelda!

I thought I was all kinds of cool for getting this Beast Picture!

Well, here's my Grumpy picture from 2000 that I was able to dig up...he was wandering around Germany in Epcot.

Kids would love to see Kim Possible and Ron, but what about Rufus! My DD4 loves Rufus and sings the Naked Mole Rap continuously.

I'll be looking for Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable when I'm at MGM next. I'd also like to be able to meet Gaston.

Thanks!!! :cloud9: Unfortunately, I didn't get a great photo of Sora! I thought I took some good ones, but when I got home, none came out too good! :o I never heard of him ever being at Disney besides at the Halloween parties that year. Please return someday, Sora!!

I HOPE some of the hints here are going to come true! Clarise, Brer Fox (my biggest miss), and a Jack Sparrow??? Whoa!!!! :faint:

And Figment is "broken"??? I heard of very rare reports of him back in Feb/March, but is he gone indefinitely now??? I will cry!!

And I done what MechaFigment said not to do - I DO hang around the ToonTown Train Station, on the chance a character may appear! If I am at Magic Kingdom, I will swing by aroud 11:30ish and see if any activity is brewing. Usually it seems to be an "all" or "nothing" location - either is being used alot, or none at all. On my December and January trips, there were plenty of characters. On my October trip, don't think I saw any. So it really depends on the season or whatever this "training schedule" is! :teeth:

Like another poster here said, I also find that Robin Hood can be very elusive, as compared to Prince John and Friar Tuck!

Hope Disney keeps those rare characters coming! :)

Any idea if she will be a predominately Magic Kingdom or MGM character to start??? :teeth: I hope she's coming!!

Oh, I love it. He is adorable. I hope we run into him so DH and get a picture with him. I went to Disney Store last weekend and bought DH a Grumpy shirt for our upcoming trip. I also got him a coffee mug with Grumpy that says "Bad mood Dude". :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Has anyone ever seen anyone dressed as characters from the movie Hocus Pocus? Probably would be at the Halloween parties if at all. I love that movie. :thumbsup2

Anyone? :teeth:

I've been to 3 parties and I've never seen them anywhere. I've never heard of anyone else seeing them either.

Here are a few from when the kids were younger!!! Haven't seen any of them since. :confused3

I would love to meet Walrus from Alice in Wonderland and also the Headless Horseman (I have not been to MNSSHP yet). The three fairies from Sleeping Beauty would be cool to meet, too. :thumbsup2

and I, too, want to see a Kim Possible - c'mon Disney!! She's been hot for years now. Our kids would much rather see Kim than any Incredible.

Just saw her listed on Steve Soares site. Can't remember what park though, but I am thinking MGM. You may want to check it out... JJ

All non classic Disney Characters and new Disney properties go to MGM first.

Robin hood is mostly spotted at Animal Kingdom Oasis, but is sometimes at town square. he is usualy only used if nothing else is avalable or the performer preferences it.

Bullesye will probably not make a return until a costume redesign takes place. it hurts to many people to do it.

I've heard that people have been seeing Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable in MGM studios lately. I wish they had been there last year when we were there - DH loves watching KP, and even knows all the words to the theme song! This from the Grumpy-boy who says he doesn't like Disney...

I really want to see Roo, but I've never heard of him doing character greetings. My roommates and I always called each other "Roo" as short for "roommate", and we used the character Roo as our mascot. One of the old roo's gave her daughter the middle name Reu, which is a Hebrew word for friend and is pronounced "roo", so now we have a "mini-Roo" to add to our group. My dream is to take all the old "roos" and all the "mini-roos" to WDW someday for a reunion trip. It would be awesome if we could all meet Roo then!

That stinks - my 2.5 year old is a huge fan of Bullseye - we are coming for MNSSHP and one of the main characters we were hoping to see was Bullseye - :sad2:
