I am taking my two little Princesses to Disney in August. I booked my Fast passes last night, and have one for them to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella just prior to dinner in the Castle.

I think that the 6 YO will aleady be wondering if they are "real" because she has asked about them already, but since she is the biggest Tangled Fanatic I had to get her the pass, and that was what was available and what worked with the family's schedule. Is the Cinderella in Fairytale Hall that much different than CIndy in teh Castle? If so, can we skip the Cinderella Meet and Greet when we meet Rapunzel? It has been a long time since my own DGD was standing in M&G lines so I am a little out of practice! LOL!

You can't avoid Cinderella. The princesses stand in the same room about 15 feet apart and you wait in line for a few minutes in that room and watch other people get pictures taken. So she'll see Cinderella the moment you walk in.

The Cinderella's in the fairytale hall and the castle are the same. When we did Cinderella's Royal Table you stood in line and met Cinderella before going up the stairs to the restaurant. I'm not sure if that's been changed or not. If you're worried you could just walk around for 20 minutes between the two. Go to the bathroom, ride the carousel, something like that. Then if she asks just say that Cinderella moved over at dinner time to meet the dinner guests.

But don't underestimate the Disney magic. My 5 year old daughter knows Mickey is fake. But when we went in April she was all excited to meet Mickey or Pooh or any character. At home she knows they're fake but at WDW she gets into it and "believes" they're real. Kids make all kinds of justifications for why things are real. For example, my daughter knows animals can't talk, so any show with a talking animal isn't real. But she thinks Sofia the First is real because the amulet gives the animals the power to talk. So while talking animals aren't real, animals who talk in the presence of magic are real.

So, don't worry about it. They'll believe the princesses are real.

Whether there is enough facial differentiation between two Cinderella's is completely unknown.

Cinderella & Rapunzel will be in the same room for the Meet-n-Greet.

You may always skip meeting Cinderella at the Meet-n-Greet, but she will be quite visible. Same at the Castle - Cinderella is on display to have your photo taken, or, you can skip that entirely.

Given the short timeframe you outlined between dining at the Castle and attending the Meet-n-Greet, I'd skip one or the other.

On the flip side, by dining with Princesses, you can use a FP+ for something else.

Is Rapunzel worth 'burning' a FP+? That decision is for your 6 y.o..

Going to Rapunzel at Park opening (a/k/a Rope Drop) is an additional strategy to avoid using a FP+, but then you potentially have the facial recognition issue..

We go to Magic Kingdom for a few days, so 'burning' one or two FP+ is OK with us if we are trying something new, like the Wishes Fireworks FP+. Matter of fact, we are also going to the Rapunzel Meet-n-Greet because our 6 y.o. princess wants to do this more than one more Thrill ride.

There is no 'right' or 'wrong' answers, just informed decisions based on your own personal calculus.

Thank you! This FP thing normally would not throw me, but between A&E (OMG! That was a nightmare to secure!!!) and my precious Nola loving Rapunzel, I seem to be burning fast Passes! LOL! Nola especially wants to meet her, and since I gave her the choice of any one costume, and she chose Rapunzel's wedding gown, I cannot drop it.

Now my biggest problem is that I did not get M&G FP for 1/2 my group, but do have 7DMT for all of us. When I try to edit to get the rest a FP, the system wants to drop mine train. NOW>>>I know I should have gotten them passes for the M&G and then changed their experience, but...too late now!

If you are having trouble managing the process, call Disney @ (407) 939-4357 to see if they can adjust your FP+ as you want.

I recall there being a way to 'Copy' FP+ from another member of your Party.

Does it matter? Our 9-year-old daughter met two "different" Ariels this year and didn't seem to care.

I don't know, really. If the meet and greets were not back to back I would not even give it a thought, but these two little girls have had a horrible time this past year and we are trying to make this trip as magical as possible. The girls are pretty excited and may not even notice.

I agree with the PP who said go meet Rapunzel at park opening in lieu of using a fast pass. We were there about 15 minutes after park opening and the wait was less than 5 minutes. Everyone is in line to meet Anna & Elsa.

My DGD is one who doesn't believe much of anything is real. Except at Disney. At Disney everything and everyone is real. And Disney has pretty tight criteria for hiring Friends of Characters. They do this so they are typically very similar in appearance and unless compared side by side, most can't tell they are different. Just let her absorb the magic dust Disney sprinkles and she'll believe right along with all the others. Heck, I get wrapped up in it all myself and while I don't believe they are real characters I sure interact with them as if they are the real thing. It's fun

We have 8:00 BOG on the Tuesday, so if we can scoot into that line, I could ditch the Rapunzel FP! I'll ask my DD to add that to the plan. I really wish that we knew if she would be stopping in CRT, as she has done once in a while. Oh the planning!!! Lol!!! I never stress but this time over these princesses!!! Lol!
