Rank these Signature Restaurants Please!

Well we've only ate at California Grill. But it was nice. The food was a little uhm.. fancy, haha, but overall it was all good. And the view of wishes was just INCREDIBLE!! :goodvibes
Oh and the Year of a million dreams dessert was the best!!! :cloud9:

Yipppeee.. some others who think Citrico's is no. 1, sorry, but I love it there.. great service, fine food and just wonderful.

I like Citricos--I've been to it my last three trips. But I didn't find anything about it that made it obviously superior to CG, and the view from the top of the Contemporary is so superior that it would push CG into the #1 spot for me.

Not sure a thread that I have started has ever gotten to 2 pages before :)

I know that our trip is not until next summer but it is never too early to start thinking about the few meals that should be the highlight of the trip.

I realize that all diners have different expectations and experiences. I thought I would see which places appear most often in the top three spots.

Thanks again. More opinions welcome :goodvibes

1. Jiko
2. Citricos
3. California Grill
4. Artist Point
5. Yachtsman

But you're not guaranteed a table with a view so although the view is outstanding, you might not get to see it during your meal. It does tend to be noisier than other signature restaurants. I also had an issue with the server in the bar completely ignoring me in favor of larger groups; I was dining solo and waiting for my table. He yelled over that he would be with me shortly....15 minutes later my table was ready and I never did get a drink while I waited. So maybe I'm just bitter about that and it's clouding my overall judgement!

But I did really enjoy Citrico's! It was a more refined fine dining experience...meaning that the restaurant didn't seem as hectic or loud. The decor was understated elegance that didn't come across as pretentious so being a solo diner I was never made to feel uncomfortable. And the food was excellent!

From favorite to least favorite;

California Grill
Artist Point
Citricos
Jiko

I've never been to Yachtsman, so didn't include it.

California Grill - #1 choice, have been there 3 times. Great Sushi, amazing service, beautiful view. The last trip in April was the best of our 3 trips. On prior trips, the service was slow. The last trip our service was impecable.

Yachtsman - One of our favorites, we book everytime we go. DH and I always share the filet for two and they will cook his med rare and mine medium, the bread and apps are great. The kids love the paint your own puzzle dessert. Yachtsman is always the first dinner of our trips. We've never had a bad meal or bad service. If your paying out of pocket, get a Disney Dining Experience card. Ours pays for itself at this meal alone!

Jiko - #3 this time, would have been #2 or #1 if menu hadn't changed. We eat at Jiko on every trip. The menu changed the last time and we were disappointed. The filet was gone. Everything was too unusual. Even the kids meals were not as good. Both service and food were the biggest dining disappointment of our trip.

Citricos - Can't rate. Went once too long ago.

Artists Pointe - Went once 5 yrs ago. Really enjoyed it, but haven't been back.

Good luck making your choices!
