Randy's CD--software question

Now that all the end of year school activities are over for my kids, I finally have some time to look back at our April vow renewal photos to decide which ones I'd like to make copies of to scrapbook or to give to others. I'd rather not import all of the pics to save on the hard drive of my computer, so here's my question...

What I really want to do is look at each photo (there are hundreds) and only copy the ones to my hard drive that I really like. (And yes, they are Randy's photos so I like A LOT of them!:) ) The software that my computer is using to open the photos is Photo Impression. (I didn't select it, just what the computer picked, but I don't have any better ideas) It requires me to open each photo individually.

I think (I hope!) there's got to be a way to open all the photos in each file at the same time so I can simply click through and save the ones I want. Does that make sense? Hope I'm explaining this well enough!

Any ideas for other software that I could use? Has anyone else with Randy's CD used a different method? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Jen

Hey Jen :)
If you have windows you can go to "My Computer" and then your D drive (or whichever letter your CD drive uses). Just click on that and it should open the files, then you can click through and select the ones you want to transfer to your hard drive (usually your C drive). I hope this helps! :)

Thanks, Meg. I'm actually opening the files the way that you're suggesting--I think. When I open one of the folders on Randy's CD (E drive--My computer), I get a list of the individual files. Then I have to open the files one at a time to look at the photo to see if it's one that I like. Am I missing an easy step somewhere?

Thanks again!

Hmm...try looking at the top toolbar, where the back arrow, delete, etc buttons are...there should be a little "windows" picture there..all the way to the right, if you leave your mouse on it it should say "views". Click there and put it on "thumbnails"...that will give you small pictures instead of file names (or at least it should).
