Hi

I was wondering if anyone had used Randy Chapman and used the intimate package $575. I was wondering if you could explain what you get for your money. I read on another thread that you only get the proofs and cd is this correct or did i mis-read this. I thought you got so many photos in an album.

Also does anyone know what happens to the photography part of the intimate wedding package if you use another photographer.

We used Randy, and I just got my pics last week. We did add an hour and b&w's so your numbers may be a little less then mine, but should be close. We ended up with 500 pictures, about 100 were b&w. The color ones were in an album. We also got the HIGH res cd which has a copy of all my pics on it that I can print out how I like in any size.

The photo credit can be used for a Honeymoon shoot in the park. No wedding attire, and it's done while the park is open. I decided it wasn't worth it. I think you get like 10 or 12 pics in an album, if you pay I think $50, but like I said we didn't do it so I could be off a bit on the numbers.

Thanks for your reply. So you got 500 pics in an album thats really good compared to the disney 20 pics. I dont think i would bother with an MK shoot. So you basically wil get nothing if you dont have disney photographer you just lose out on that part of the package.

Correct. If you don't use the photographer or book an alternate photo package with Disney--you do not get any additional credit for that portion of the package.

With standard package you get roughly +-150 pictures for the 3 hr session. you own the rights to everything he took. I'm almost certain you get to pick out what you want to put into the album, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
You'll get to personally talk with Randy about week prior to the event to discuss the processes, get to know him and for him to know you.
Book early if you're sure of the date and want to book him. the deposit is half the total price.

DD (melmel) got 400 4x5 color proofs in a nice album. The proofs are very good quality & could be used as regular pictures. We didn't get any actual finished pictures w/the intimate package. However, since she got the high res CD, she can make as many copies as she wants, any size she wants. No copy right problems. And no $1000 for the CD as Disney charges. She also got 100 black & whites ($75 extra) that she plans to put in a nice album.

Yep. I got all my pictures, which was a few hundred, in an album too.

We had Randy shoot our Wedding and I am one of his biggest fans. He is a real genius.
He did supply an album of a couple of hundred prints at 6"x4" as well as the CD to print our own at a later date.

His work is superb, no other way of describing it. He stays with you until the reception ends (and in fact did some balcony shots after the reception for fun).

I was so inspired by what Randy does that I am now trying to develop my own wedding photography business and offering the same sort of approach to the English market.

We were delighted with Randy's work and I have never heard of anyone who had a problem with him.
Not only a great photographer, but a really great guy. Very laid back and nothing is too much problem for his customers.

oh yeah, what's the resolution of his pictures? wonder how the max size we can develope from the pix on cd.

I don't know the exact numbers but I know I've heard you can do poster sized without any problems.

We did a poster size print and it came out beautifully. I don't know at the moment the exact resolution but it is very high. We also had him for the intimate package and we added a little tmie on and got all of our picturesi n a very pretty whte album.
