Randy Chapman photo package #3

Hello all,

We are finally getting around to looking through our proofs and trying to figure out which ones we want to purchase enlargements, etc. We ordered Randy's photo package #3. In going back and re-reading what you get, it says "24 page Renaissance Leather Album." I assume this is different from the proof albums, because both package #2 and #3 state "preview albums" separately? Has anyone received this?

Also, what size enlargements did you request? We can get 1 16x20 and 1 11x14 but my parents requested an 8x10. Is a 16x20 overkill?

I am curious as well. Does any one have a photo of the leather album?I am curious as to weather I should upgradeand spend mucho on the digital. I would rather not so I am interested to see this.

Yes this is different to your preview album - its a beautiful bound leather album and you pick your prints to go into it. I have it's real pretty but it's sooo heavy LOL

When I picked my prints I thought the 16 x 20 was overkill also but if you ask Randy he may be able to customize your package slightly and have you swap out that one for two 8x10's now I cannot guarantee this but if you don't ask you don't get and this is just my personal taste

Thank you so much for the information and for posting pictures of your album. It is so beautiful! Did you put together a list of your favorite photos for Randy to include?

I selected all of the photos for my album as well as the order, layout, etc. Randy / Linda (his wife/assistant) told me I could just give them a list of the pictures I wanted included, and they would do the rest, but I am too much of a control freak for that

One thing I will add, is that while I was told the photos would be cropped before being put into the album, that didn't happen. It's not a huge deal, and doesn't bother anyone other than DH and I, but if I could go back I would have been even more specific when ordering my album. This was at least partially a 'my bad', but I think its important for future brides to know that they may have to ask to have their guests cropped out of the photo of you and your dad walking down the aisle.

Over all though, I do love my album. I'm a sucker for big traditional leather albums
