Not true. I happen to know some of them, and there are some females.
I don't think they are all men - but I have definately seen some parades where I am SURE the swans are men!!!

That's ok. :rotfl: I'm sure in the real world, there are male and female swans. :goodvibes

The airspace over Disneyworld has been declared a no-fly zone. I think they used safety as a reason, but it may have been to keep those small planes with advertising banners away.

In the bathrooms between Frontierland and Adventureland, listen very closely. In the women's bathroom, you can hear Stitch calling and looking for Lilo and in the men's bathroom, you can hear Lilo calling and looking for Stitch.

 In Tomorrowland also!!! I was in the restroom in either Cosmic Rays or the Noodle Terrace when I heard it. I was the only one in there and I thought I was going crazy. This is a feature that should really be removed.

Curious, :confused3 when I was at MK in January, right during the parade, there was a small plane sky writing...smily faces and Christian messages like God & Jesus Love You and such...

I haven't confirmed this all the way but every store on main street has a doorway to the adjacent store so you could walk down main street through the stores. This is a good way to avoid the crowds outside.

This is true, as I often do this when I leave the park at crowded times.

Same thing is true for the shops up the main drag at MGM.

We found out last year on the 4th of July. We watched the fireworks outside the last shop and when they ended we went through the shops and was able to exit rather quickly.

The flight restriction is only for under 3000 feet. Planes are free to fly above 3000 feet. Additionaly most likely it just looked like the plane was above the MK. In most cases the plane is writing near the park and it just looks like they are over the park. The restriction extends 3 miles around the park.

Last May we watched the night parade from Frontierland and were right on the ropes. The street is narrow there so you are within feet of all the floats and characters. Much better than Main St. IMHO.

Also we started to leave right after the parade, got on the Ferry and watched the fireworks from the ferry--great view. We got luck in that we got on and got a good place on the top deck.

It's been mentioned that the windows on the second floor of Main Street buildings show the names of Disney VIPs. Walt Disney's name is printed above the Plaza Pavillion Restaurant/Main St. Bakery area and faces Cinderella's Castle. This is so that Walt is always looking at the castle, so to speak.

If you walk into the "alleys" of Main Street, you can actually hear things such as piano lessons in progress.

If you are "chosen" to be the Stranger as the Phone a Complete Stranger lifeline on WWTBAMPI, you get a button that reads "I was a Complete Stranger."

If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of World Showcase, you can hit the Tin Toy showcase in the Japan Pavillion (formerly the Japanese Baseball exhibit). Not too many people know it's there, and it's very quiet.

More than 650 Imagineers worked for about 5 years designing and developing Mission: Space

Keep it going ya'll! I love threads like these. We spent some time on our most recent vacation finding and pointing out the "secrets"I had found on the board. We had a blast. Give it a try. It truly adds to the Disney experience. Now, if I could only get everyone to agree to do the KTTKT I would be a happy person!

QUOTE]

In the title sequence for most movies the director's name is listed first and again at the end of the credits.

The windows on Main St. while paying tribute to certain Disney employees are also the "credits" for the creation of the park.

The very first window on Main Street visible from outside the park designates him as "Chief Engineer" for the Walt Disney Railroad.
The window over the Plaza Restaurant shows "Walt Disney, Master Classes in Design and Master Planning"

These two windows bookend all the credits inbetween, just like in a movie.

At one time, Walt Disney's name was the only one to face the Castle. However, the names of Imagineers such as Tony Baxter and others have been added to windows above Casey's Corner and also face Cinderella Castle.
