I wrote a poem about a boy struggling with being gay and not having anyone know.
For writing class.

I read it and everyone was just silent.
I'm pretty sure almost everyone in there is against it.
While Olivia and I are for it.
And this girl that sits beside me said later when they were talking about lesbians in stories on how she's just gonna bite her tongue on the subject.
Because she's really religious and I'm sure she would be 100% against it.
And now I'm pretty sure our teacher is against it.
I wonder what she'll give me on my poem.
I'm sure nobody will look at me the same in that class.
Oh well, freedom of speech. I love it.
