How to measure vitamin C content:

Add a known amount of Vitamin C to 2cm cubed of DCPIP mixture, drop by drop. After each drop, slighty shake the test tube to mix the vitamin C. When the mixture has decolourised, you stop adding the vitamin C.

Add fruit juice to 2cm cubed of DCPIP mixture, drop by drop. After each drop, slighty shake the test tube to mix the fruit juice. When the mixture has decolourised, you stop adding the fruit juice.

To get the vitamin C content in the juice, you use the formula:

CONCb = (VOLa * CONCa) / VOLb

CONb = The concentration of vitamin C in the fruit juice in mg ml.
VOLa = The amount of vitamin C it took to decolourise the DCPIP in ml.
CONa = The concentration of vitamin C used in the first part of experiment in mg ml.
VOLb = The amount of fruit juice it took to decolourise the DCPIP in ml.

Okay so today school got cancelled after 2nd lesson because we had no water and it was really hot so I went shopping with my friends and something really funny happened that I can't be bothered explaining. And then we went to mine and sat in my garden and had peanut butter and nutella sandwiches and ice cream. 'Twas great. And then we were gonna go to this beach party but I didn't like anyone going so I walked all the way back by myself. -_-

So the stages of the cardial cycle is the atrial systole, the ventricular systole and the diastole. I have no idea what they do though... I think that in the atrial systole, the atria contracts to pass blood into the ventricles. To stop blood going into the veins, the atria contracts over the entry of the veins. Hope I don't have this in my paper!
