Something that really bugs me is when people say something is ironic when it's actually a coincidence. For example, someone says "I was humming to Single Ladies in Walmart, when it suddenly started playing over the speakers. How ironic". No it's not! It's a coincidence!

Coincidence - A striking occurrence of two or more events at one time apparently by mere chance.

Irony - The use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning.
An outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected.

So to make it ironic, it would be "I was humming to Single Ladies in Walmart, when Love & Marriage started playing over the speakers. How ironic!" This is because the song titles contradict each other.

lol. i was on chat-roulette. and i decided to be funny, i have a hand puppet that i made [it's a cross between a alien mutant and a squirrel.] so I put it on and I knew the guy! He's cute and goes to my school! he said that nobody had made him smile/laugh all day because his dog had been ran over this morning () and he was glad he saw my puppets. he just busted out laughing. annnnnd. he wants to hang out tomorrow before school. BEST PART OF MY DAY? I say....YES!
