It was an unusually chilly August morning in Scotland. The sun had only started to rise over Hogwarts Castle when a young teen's slumber was interrupted by the phone ringing. Rubbing his eyes, he answered it and heard an automated alarm clock message telling him to wake up and wishing him a happy day. He groaned and tried to get back to sleep, but before he could even close his eyes, he was being shaken awake by his friend, then the covers were pulled off the bed, exposing the teenager to the cold morning.
"Come on Harry, you don't want to be late for that tour you're going on." she said.
"But it's, like, half four in the morning! I don't even have to be there until six." he replied.
"Well, it's nine o' clock back home and you need to get ready to leave. Shower, brush your teeth, get dressed, have some breakfast. By the time that's all done, it should be half past five, which gives you enough time to reach Hogemeade station in more than enough time."
Harry Potter muttered something unintelligible and got out of bed. Sure enough come half past five, he was ready to leave the dormitary and head to Hogsmeade station to attend a special tour currently made available for members of H23, a special club Hogwarts recently made for the hardcore fans. The tour in particular went places no others have gone, taking guests into the rooms of their most famous stories. The highlight was a walk through the Headmaster's Office, getting up close to Professor Dumbledore and traversing the many artifacts. Due to the nature of the tour, it has to be done before the castle officially opens so none of the rooms have to be closed.

It was a day like any other day, and Carl was on his laptop, poking his friends on Facebook and tweeting the song he was listening to. Carl was really bored, so he looked up the first thing that came to mind. Cake recipes. This made him hungry and even more bored than before. Carl couldn't cook to save his life, so he raided the fridge for some chocolate. On the way back to his room from the kitchen, he noticed something peculiar outside the window. There was nobody outside. No cars, no walkers, not even a bird. The houses on the opposite side of the street were devoid of any life. In fact, the houses on the opposite side of the street were missing! Carl thought this was an odd occurance, but figured he was seeing things and went back to his room. Nobody was on Facebook. Nobody was on Twitter. Carl's Internet connection was gone. This frustrated him so he went to look outside again. He noticed that the sky was green, and his house was now surrounded by purple water. At least, he thought it was water. It looks like he house was somehow transported to another planet somehow, but that's impossible. Carl pinched his arm to see if he was dreaming. He was.

I found out the badges aren't on this time at LITP. Crap! It's sad to say that it's the only reason I volunteered in the craft section

I normally do the craft area, and the badges are on once a week. This year, it's not on at all. I only thought about making badges from printed pictures last year, but we didn't have a working printer at the time... But yeah, I want my bow-ties are cool badge! I wonder what else is on as well... I know i'm helping with the clay area, and then the shop on the last day. Oh, in the Inspiration part (which is craft only for adults), I have to be a steward once a week, and I hate stewarding...
