i got out of skewl the 8th

Well, we go in later, in September (or sometimes the very end of August), and we get out in June. Usually, we'd be out by now (today, actually, which makes me mad), but we had a snow day and 2 flood days (yes, we had a legitimate flood here!) that we have to make up.

You have to make up days missed when school closes? That sucks. That never happens over here, but then we all mainly get out around the 20th July anyway. Depends on if you're doing your GCSEs or A Levels at the time.

Yep. We HAVE to have 180 days of school.

In the South, though, they get out in like MAY (but go in in mid August).
