I respect your opinion, but could you please not insult them like that? Calling HP stupid without saying why is a bit of a pet peeve of mine, especially for people who haven't seen/read the whole series.

... I'm such a hypocrite. I snarl and hate on THOSE kind of Twilight fans, and yet for Harry Potter... I'm totally one of THOSE fans. My bad, guys ^.^;;

Sorry, it is my opinion though... and I don't need to read the whole series/see all the movies to know I wouldn't like it. It's just not my thing, ya know. I think of HP fans the same way people think of Twilight fans. They're all equally crazy about their favorite series There are very few series about magical beings that have caught my interest, those being the InkHeart series and The Fire Within series. HP is just, so... bandwagon.

So true! And that's not even HP specific. No movie is ever as good as the book (the only exception to this is Disney's Hunchback, and that's because they're SO different that it's easy to forget that the book inspired it).

Sorry, it is my opinion though... and I don't need to read the whole series/see all the movies to know I wouldn't like it. It's just not my thing, ya know.

Yeah, I get it, and like I said, I totally respect that. ^_^ It's not everybody's thing, but just saying "Harry Potter is stupid" makes me... well, unreasonably angry. Hey, I don't usually like bandwagon stuff, either, but something about HP just got me.

I don't want to ever read Fox & The Hound because the ending of the book is completely different to the movie. Much sadder... That would spoil the movie for me.

Oh! One scene of the movie I liked was how the Three Brothers was read. The shadow puppet-style animation was great.

Yeah, it happens to me as well. But I love spoilers. I don't like going into a movie, show, book, etc. without knowing what happens. Major plot spoilers irk me, but I blame myself because i'm the one who decided to read them (unless they're put in the wrong place and I wasn't expecting it...)

yes, but i dont have any friends that live near me, and unlike you, i dont get in from school until like 5, when i just do homework and watch tv. cause its dark. and we dont have cool stuff in our back garden, like a batting cage or a pitching machine or even a dog. cause our garden is tiny. and its fun talking to you guys, so this i just what i do in my free time.

One of the laws of magic is that you can't make food appear from nowhere... But could you transfigure a teapot into a chicken, kill it, then cook it? Or make some edible flowers appear (like Hermione did with the wreath...) or something. Does it include anything that can be eaten, or just processed food like sweets, or biscuits or something... I wonder what the other five laws are as well.

That part was AWESOME <333 I was so afraid they were just going to put the camera on Hermione reading the whole time and make it incredibly boring, but it was just SO cool!

I'd be very surprised if JKR hasn't addressed this in an interview. No idea what she said, but seems like something she'd have answered.

School Uniform
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM OUR OFFICIAL STOCKISTS:
Green blazer.
---- skirt (no shorter than 10 centimetres above the knee).
or Black trousers (these are classic style, supplied by one of our official stockists, no others are acceptable).
White, ¾ sleeved, open-neck blouse with ---- logo.
Green V-neck jumper.
Green, long-sleeved overall for practical subjects and white overall or apron for Food Technology
PE uniform is available through the school or from our official stockists.
Other items:
Natural tights, plain black tights or black socks.
Black, low-heeled shoes (no boots, trainers, plimsolls or backless styles).
Coats, raincoats or jackets must be black, navy or dark green. Leather and denim are not permitted.
The school scarf is optional. Plain dark green or black scarves and gloves may be
worn.
If students wish to cover their hair for religious reasons, a black or dark green headscarf, securely pinned, may be worn.
Accessories:
Hair accessories must be dark green, brown or black.
Hair should be of a natural shade if artificially coloured.
No make up or nail varnish is allowed at KS3.
Discreet make up and clear nail varnish is allowed at KS4.
Nail extensions are not allowed.
Facial or tongue piercings are not allowed. No jewellery is allowed, with the exception of one small stud in each ear if the ears are pierced, and a watch.

Please ensure that all uniform is clearly named.

Awwww, poor Eimear ):
One of my best friends lives right down the street. My other bestfriend lives in the neighborhood across from mine. And the rest of my bestfriends live within a 5 minute distance, except for one, she's like 10 minutes away. We've got to go over the railroad to get to her house.
Awwwwwww ): The batting cage isn't up anymore, we took it down because it's too cold out now, and baseball season is over, my brothers don't practice as much. I normally play basketball out front, now.
