The rest of Act II isn't really worth commenting on, as we all know what happens. Cindy runs off at midnight without telling Princey her name; loses shoe on the stairs; Prince freaks out. Bring up the lights, go off in search of friends.



Act III, and ayyy, do I love the song "A Lovely Night". It's so...singable. Anyway, so basically, the Prince makes the Herald (played to bumbling perfection again by Jacob #1) try the lost shoe on every unmarried girl in the kingdom. Which was indeed an amusing scene. Ahh, but it's hopeless, Ryan! You'll never find her! Or will you? A tree has told you to try it on Cinderella (in not so many words), and so you shall. And what do you know? It fits. Let's get married!

The Minister was played to comedic perfection by none other than Pilgrim's very own Mr. Callahan. Kiss kiss, and end show! Curtain call, tech crew high fives, and Senior Recognition. Congrats, Seniors! 2011



All in all, a very fantastic performance of one of my favourite classic musicals by some very talented students--and friends! Yes, there were a few acting quips (Cinderella delivering a stiff performance, a few flubs, a few hard to hear people), and a there were a few staging quips (see above rant on stool vs. chair), but overall, 4 stars! Can't wait for the spring play, guys!

It's one of my faves too. But the whole album is really good (except Haunted, which is growing on me). I'm still obsessing over Dear John, mostly because my favorite female singer made a song about my favorite male singer. Naturally I'm going to be interested.

I liked Haunted from the start. Story of Us grew on me, as did Better Than Revenge.

The one song, besides Innocent, that I can't bring myself to listen to is Last Kiss. It's just SO LONG and SO SLOW.
