Thanks for the thoughts. He is doing better. It ends up it was croup. He doesn't sound to great, but it is curable and his spirits are up. He is chillin on the couch watching The Polar Express right now. I'm working from home today.

I know what you mean. We were so happy he had croup. But yes, he is doing better now. Still coughing, but he will get better with some rest.

Have you heard "You're Pitiful" - his take on James Blunt's "You're Beautiful"? It was available for free download from his website a while ago. Don't know if it still is.

I love spiders, but this morning I had a dream about spiders that really freaked me out. They were called California Walking Spiders and they were HUGE (like tarantula sized) with these absurdly long legs. Anyway..they acted more like killer bees than spiders--traveled in groups, if one got hurt they all started attacking, etc. The only way to kill them was to set fire to them because they were immune to stomping, spraying and bug bombing. I dreamed I came home to find DH, DS and the cat covered in spider bites. I drove DH and DS to the hospital while a neighbor took the cat to the vet. Later, I was on the phone with....somebody who told me the only way to rid my house of the infestation was to set fire to the house.

That's when I woke up.


Ok..so that's more like a random novel than a random thought. Sorry.
