Random Thoughts: Post em!

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but how is it that my 5yr old dd can wet the bed but still somehow manage to keep her shirt dry? :confused3 It's a mystery.

My last 6 concerts were to see The Wiggles. :rotfl2:

Anthony and Greg are pretty hot though.

I have to remember, who did I see last year...?

Duran Duran, Sting, Rod Stewart (those were all 2nd-time shows)...then Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and U2.

This year I've seen Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band (Richard Marx, Billy Squier, Edgar Winter, and Sheila E), James Taylor, and Eric Clapton.

I still have NOT seen The Cure, ever. And I only got to see Bowie :worship: for the first time in '04. My mother never let me go to concerts as a kid. Probably because of that first Duran Duran concert when I was 12 and she had to hold me up for the first 3 songs... :faint:

I saw Richard Marx in high school. Saw Bon Jovi in like....'88? The Slippery When Wet tour. Cinderella opened for them. :thumbsup2

I would have LOVED to see Duran Duran.

They'll be around again. They're working on their new album now. I'm just glad the original 5 are back together. Andy and Roger had left by the time I got to see them the first time.

My last concert was Blues Traveler at the Soiled Dove, a nightclub which has since closed and relocated. This was about a year ago.

They're still around? Didn't the lead singer get really sick or something a few years back?

He had a heart attack (busy in a hot tub with a couple of groupies) many, many years ago, in part due to being so overweight, then had gastric bypass surgery about 5 years ago or so. They play Red Rocks every year on July 4 so seeing them in a nightclub was pretty incredible, though I could have seen them in more intimate settings when I was in college and they were unheard of.

Oh, you've GOT to be kidding me...my company is being considered for inclusion on the "50 Best Small and Medium Companies to Work for in America" list. We're supposed to fill out a survey.

My coworkers treat me like crap. I work overtime and I can barely afford to pay my rent. Yeah, it's just a GREAT company to work for... :sad2:

I'm wondering if I should get my lazy butt up and do something with my un-combed wet hair /=.. I think I should. [=

They also went silent for a few years back in 1999 due to the death of their bassist Bobby Sheehan, who was also John Popper's best friend. They then came back in 2001 with an album that really delved into their loss. But now, they are back and better than ever in my opinion. Definitely, one of the best jam-bands ever! :thumbsup2

Let it be known that soup is not a filling lunch. I'm still hungry.

We're having a Diwali festival here (Indian New Years). So, if you like Indian food, we got some good stuff in the cafeteria here.

*jealous*

We don't have a decent Indian restaurant in the whole area. 3-4 towns...NOTHING.

Plenty of sub-par Chinese places, though.

And following that thought...very few stray cats... :scratchin
