I've got an Egyptian Eye of Horus on my right ankle, the symbol from Duran Duran's New Moon On Monday video on the left ankle, and a sort-of tribal sun above that (for Reach Up For the Sunrise). I want to get another tat on my inner wrist, but I'm looking for a new job and I can't have any that show. Maybe I can do one on the back of my neck or something.

I also am contemplating a portrait of David Bowie...I just can't decide if I want him as Ziggy Stardust or Jareth.

Tattoos are fun. However, I only have one. And like Liz I can't give blood either. But my reason is not the tattoo, since that was...oh my god...more than 10 years ago. My reason is that I had malaria. That's what you get for living in third world country for 2 years.

You could get one where I have mine. Just below the belt line closer to the right hip. That way it is hidden during work, but you can show it (if you want) in the summer depending how daring and low cut your thong bikini is.

I've been contemplating getting a tattoo in 2 years when I turn 30. However, I am also a BIG WUSSIE when it comes to needles so somebody would have to go and hold my hand and keep me from having a nervous breakdown on the tat table.

I think if I DO go get a tat, I want it to be on my upper arm, near the shoulder, on the outside. The design is yet to be determined--either Betty Boop (who is my all time favorite cartoon star) or a Joker card with DS's initials and D.O.B. (4/1/04).

Hey, I'd go with you! I didn't find it to be all that painful. In fact, I rather like it and now I miss it...
