Do you get dressed after you shower in the morning or do you throw your pjs back on?

I put my pjs back on as I despise trying to get dressed after showing. Putting on a sports bra just after a shower is an exercise in frustration.

Usually I put in my pjs. Choose my clothes, eat breakfast, than get dressed.

Posted as had to get dressed right after showering while staying in hotel in Disneyland with family.

I almost always get dressed right after my shower. I'll occasionally put my robe on if I have to run downstairs before getting ready, but never the same PJs or clothes I just took off.

I get dressed for the day after a morning shower...

well in very rare instances such as a day off and being home alone (which is the perfect storm) I will put on a clean pair of pj's and carry on with bingewatching and coffee or something.

@CdnCarrie I am with you 100%. The torture of a sports bra while still damp from the shower is the WORST. And my bed head after showering at night would be awful. Not to mention I HATE being hot in the bed. Ick.

Neither, at least immediately. I get out of the shower, dry off, then brush teeth, style hair, put on makeup if I am wearing it, and then the very last thing I do is get dressed in my clothes for the day. Since it takes about 45 minutes to get ready, I am completely dry and don’t have any issues with clothes fighting against damp skin.

If I am traveling and don’t have the luxury of privacy, I will shower at night and put on pajamas. My hair won’t like it, but a ponytail can be a lifesaver.

I put my nightshirt back on and get dressed within the half in hour. I like to be fully dry and many times I haven't decided exactly what to wear yet for the day.

I get dressed right after a shower. I give myself the bare minimum amount of time to get ready in the morning to maximize sleep time, so I don't have time to lounge around in pajamas.

dressed right away. I hate being in my pajamas besides bed.
DIL can lay around in hers all day, I don't get it :rotfl: Not for me

I get dressed; although sometimes it's just a new pair of pjs, or a shirt and lounging shorts/sweats. Right after I shower, I usually brush my teeth, and if I'm doing anything with my hair, I do it then, just wrapped in a big bath sheet. I usually don't wash my hair every day (every 3rd day normally, but if we go swimming or if I'm sweating or whatever, it's sooner).

If I'm staying in my pjs, I don't feel the urge to shower...it's a lazy day around the house.

Years ago I could take a shower and be ready in 15 minutes.

It has not happened for years now. Cannot dress right away. I will throw on a big T-shirt right after drying. Need to cool off for 30, 40 minutes to an hour before getting dressed (and if I have to dry my hair.....add another 20-30 minutes to cool off .

After showering, I also wait 15-20 minutes and put on deodorant and t-shirt back on. I have seen way too may people with the white deodorant lines at the bottom of their shirts (darker colors).

I usually just put pjs back on to eat breakfast, make coffee, put dog out and pack my lunch - so maybe 20 minutes. Sometimes throw clothes in dryer for 10 minutes if wrinkled.

Then I brush my teeth, fix my hair (mostly dry by than), put on makeup , and then get dressed.
Then rush out the door! About 60-70 minutes total.
