"Random" Security Checks?? (at WDW now)

Real security would demand that all packages, bags etc be scanned--not just rummaged through by security.

They do all bag scanning at DLP. but no searching - so selfie sticks etc are everywhere, and it takes an age to scan every bag.

Scans ala TSA are the only way to be sure nothing is hidden that a quick visual won't find. That box of Ritz crackers might contain a small revolver at the bottom--and just looking could easily miss it.

If true security is what they are after, then it will just take a LOT longer to get in the Parks.
