random remembering......prompted by the airport thoughts....
When DS was 3, my brother got married. In Texas. His wife to be, having no experience at all with children (by her own admission) wanted all the cousins to be in the wedding party. This was four little boys, my DS the oldest at 3, the three others were all 2 years old. They got adorable little white suits (with shorts and jackets) and were to walk down the aisle in two pairs.
that is the background
I had just given birth (literally, two month old DD12 made the trip). My other two brothers with 2 year olds and my grandparents, parents, friends, etc were all flying down together (what were we thinking)?
Trying to keep track of all those kids in the airport was a nightmare, and me with a newborn latched on every 30 minutes or so.........
DS 3 got his hand STUCK in the baggage x-ray machine......stopped the machine, sirens wailing, police (security probably) come to help......DS crying, relatives huddling.......me with baby which had to be repeatedly taken out of carseat carrier (might be smuggling something somewhere)...
Yes, PAD, it definitely gets easier!
