Just a quick post. I just got a call from Disney pictures in connection with a sweepstakes I entered through the NY Times. I won a Wall-E gift pack! I'm not sure what's in it but it's just exciting to win. I frequently enter sweepstakes. I've been doing that ever since I was about 12. It's always fun to win a prize, even a small one.

DS needed new shorts WITH pockets, he wears those nylony athletic ones, and some have pockets, some dont. At Penny's we found some Nike ones on clearance for 9.99 plus an additional 20 percent off, so they were only 7.99. That is a deal! They were marked 25.00 originally. They only had three pair, in his size, we bought all three.

Snow, I just read that Spectromagic may be "closed" from Aug 15-30 due to a bridge repair........that was on the AllEars newsletter via email. I hope not. DH loves the parade, thinks the parade is worth the price of admission alone. DKids don't have the same view, but do like it.

.......they are lowering the grade of the bridge (whatever that means) to make it easier for floats, carts & such to cross.........

yes, we got dream fast passes once. And tons of just regular fast passes when we stood in line. Also, pins once. I am always hoping for a stay at the dream suite, but no such luck yet!

that'll be MY luck, Cindy's castle w/ 3 BOYS! 'no, honey you can't put the glass slipper on your light saber to see if it glows'. 'no honey you can't bounce your Mickey head balloon off of the stained glass windows' 'no honey you can't hang from the canopy'...........

Hi everyone!! Well the past couple of days have been kind of crazy to say the least! But I should be back to full DISing standards now!! lol We got all the paper work finally together today, dropped it all off at our Child and Family services, met with a social worker..so the adoption ball is officially rolling!!

I just saw a clip of OK magazine with Jamie Lynn on the cover. Beautiful baby (and momma). Hopefully teen motherhood won't be too glorified, Jamie Lynn has the finacial means to make it work, but that is not the case for most teens.......
