Me too. My mom went and had two strong opinions afterwards. First, it was beautiful. Second, the flight was so long she would never go again until on a cruise ship.

There are two reasons I have not travelled there. First is that if I go, I plan on going for 3 weeks. Second is that I'm not sure I could deal with the length of the flight.

I too want to go to California. And Colorado, Utah, and Arizona, and The Azores.

As a kid, my dad and I made a wooden Ghostbusters ghost trap. I really wanted the toy version, but this was great. Found the toy version decades later at the thrift store, and it sold for $100 on ebay. The funds aided my trip to Canada.

Caution: While visiting Florence, be aware that all the locals are so beautiful it looks like one big Armani commercial. Seriously - I have never seen such uniformly attractive people in my life. I felt like a beast.
