My mom and I actually made a joke out of this during our last trip to Disneyland. We got to the park right when it opened and I was lucky to get a photo taken with Mickey and Minne. When we got the photo back we were laughing at the smiles on their faces thinking if they WERE having a bad day then they were probably glaring at the camera. I guess it all depends on the day they're having.
DH and I got engaged in 1990 at MK. When we first walked in the park, we spotted Pluto and waited in line for a picture. DH was on one side, I was on the other, and I swear Pluto grabbed my butt! I bet he was smiling then!
Only if they can manage a smile while thinking thoughts like "Take the flippin' picture already and get your sweaty kid off me". And "Anyone see that dang mouse lately? He owes me 50 bucks for last nights beer run."
Ever ask a CM about it while they are "on stage"? It's amazing how they can give you the "Mickey is really a mouse" speech with a straight face. Makes me wonder if there is some kind of alternative way to make this happen. Electric shock, hypnosis...
