Have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures :cloud9:

I was stuck on Haunted Mansion for a half hour right in front of the opera singer :faint: Not a fun time. Plus I had my two cousins in the buggy with me who only spoke Spanish, French, and polish at the time (no English) and their mother kept getting out of her buggy to bring them sandwiches :confused3 Needless to say I truly had a nightmare in the Haunted Mansion :lmao:

I'm back, got back around 11:30. Took tons of pics, but don't have the energy to download them now. It will have to wait until tomorrow! We stayed for the fireworks. I'm not gonna lie, hearing Walt's voice while standing on Main Street at Disneyland, I got teary eyed!

We thought DS might not get picked for the All Star team, since he had a cast on for six weeks of the season and has only been back for six games. But he is hitting so well, he got picked. Now we have tournaments every weekend in July to look forward to.
I was kinda looking forward to a less ball filled July for a change.

Congrats to your DS

The show starts at 7:30 but we are leaving the house around 6:15 :yay: I am so excited to see it...I babysat for a family last week while they went to see it and they absolutely loved it!

Can't wait to see how you liked it! :goodvibes I guess I have to keep reading! :rotfl:

Break's over for me! Time to fold laundry,

, and whatever else I can find. By 2:30, gotta pick up DS from summer program. Maybe I'll treat myself to Starbucks while I'm there. There's one right across the st. from the college.

you are like Martha Stewart! :rotfl:

WOO HOO I'm the leader of the pack :cool1:

oh no! I have some serious random chatting to do. If only I wasn't so darn tired... :rotfl:

I hate driving trips. I'd vote to fly everytime. Even if they charge for luggage.

I used to love road trips, before the kids. Now due to the constant "are we there yet", it's not the same anymore! We always found a way to keep ourselves entertained as kids. My kids have a DVD player in the car and they're still not happy! :rotfl:

So this morning I take DS to storytime, as I usually do on Weds, at our local library.

Recently, the head librarian was able to acquire an old GameCube and several games, including one which I think is called "Starfox Adventures" which features a gun-toting animorphic fox as the hero. After storytime was over, DS wanted to go play in the children's area, where the video game is, so I was like, "Eh.." and let him go.

Two teens were sitting in gaming rockers on the floor, playing "Starfox" and everybody's cool and having a good time. Out of NOWHERE a middle-aged mom pops up and drags her son (proabably about 4 or 5) out of the kid's area. She then takes the time to announce TO THE ENTIRE LIBRARY "We don't watch violent video games! Violent video games rot your brain and make you evil!" at which point she drags her kid out the door. Another mom who was standing there browing the New Releases shelf looked at me and said "What in the world?":confused3 . Then we both burst out laughing because the woman's outburst was totally random. Her kid wasn't playing the game, nor was he really interested in it. He was more interested in the shelves of videos than the game. :rotfl:

:rotfl: I'm sure your mom making a scene like that will rot your brain too. I swear, some mothers do stuff like that just because they THINK it's the thing to do.

I know. The way she said it in a very loud voice, like she was announcing it to the entire library, is what made it even funnier. Like the entire library needs to know (or even cares) she doesn't like violent video games.:lmao:

she was probably hoping from a pat on the back from all the other moms for protecting her DS from the bad evil video games! :lmao:

Yup I decide to wear green and black to go with the theming of the show :thumbsup2

great idea! :thumbsup2 They are giving away Wicked tickets on my favorite radio station every Wednesday (Wicked Wednesday they call it). You have to text Wicked to them. Well, they did it while we were in the car on the way to Disney this morning, I made my DS text like crazy. :rotfl: Since I couldn't drive and text at the same time, you know? Of course I didn't win again! Maybe next week! :goodvibes I just wanna go see it again!

Hey hara :wave2: how was your day? Did you get to have Starbuck's before you picked up DS?

did you guys read on the other thread that they are closing 600 Starbucks in the United States? I hope none of them is near me! :sad2:
