Every year that I've gone to DisneyWorld, it's been with my family so we had lots of luggage and always checked most of it in. This time, since I'm only going with DS for a few days, I am trying to avoid checking any luggage in. Anyone else trying to avoid checking in luggage? So far, my airline is not charging for the first bag.

no advice here. You are talking to a chronic over packer. We had 6 big suitcases between the 4 of us for our cruise. Actually, 7, but one smaller one was inside a bigger one on the way there and we used it for souvies on the way back! I couldn't NOT check luggage if my life depended on it. I am already panicking thinking about our next trip. We usually fly AA and they charge for the first checked bag!

My DH does accounting work, too. He LOVES math, loves to figure out problems in his head. I don't even like to add and subtract in the checkbook.

I don't even like to add and substract using a CALCULATOR, let alone my head!

The humidity is what makes things soooo unbearable, for me anyways!! We went to WDW in the summer once, and it was soooo hard for us to deal with.....lol

I couldn't do it! We spent ONE day in Florida before our cruise, and that was in April, and I was already whining!
