I NEED TO VENT

Ok so here is the deal we are in the process of getting a new fence for our backyard and right now we have no fence and there are nails and leftover wood all over the yard. Well the neighborhood kids decided to play a game of extreme hide and seek and keep running through the backyard. It is a safety hazard back there so I don't want them there in case they get hurt. I have asked them at least 10 times to stay out yet they still cannot grasp the concept. Now one of the parents is ringing my doorbell saying I have no right to yell at his kids when all I was trying to do was keep them safe UGH I am soooooo angry right now

I, for one, can never think of the appropriate snarky remark at the time, but LATER, after the offending neighbor is gone, I would have dozens of smart a$$ comments. I hope you can think on your feet quicker than I am. For goodness sake, you were just trying to keep one of the kids from needing a tetnus shot!

You sound just like me. That's why I try to stay away from arguments. I'll think of good things I should have said days later when I'm thinking about Things.( Did anyone understand that?)

Here I was trying to help the neighborhood brats and that was the thanks I got That father should have been kissing my feet for trying to keep his kids safe
