Good afternoon all! It's almost 3pm here in So Cal and 99 degrees, which means it has cooled off some! Scary part is, this is my first time online today! I watched Flicka last night after I left you guys and bawled my eyes out!!

DH was stressed yesterday when an "old" man at the ballfield was yelling at him, very rude, about the way he was getting the field ready. The old man was using crude language, and Dh was just minding his own business. After DH was done, he went over to the man and said, "I just want to thank you for making me feel bad. Thank you very much." The man was speechless. I know he expected Dh to yell back at him.

Thank you. We do try......... A large portion of teaching today is mothering, I find. You never get to take time off of being a role model. I am lucky that DH is on the same page as I am........or willing to go with my quirky ideas sometimes (like giving away fastpasses). The first day, he was like (raised eyebrow) you want to give these passes to someone? Do you think anyone will take them??? Then he saw the amazed, excited reaction from the family we gave them too, and he started saying, "let's get fastpass for ...... so we can give them to someone when we leave for our break". The Dkids really liked spreading the joy, too!

we did this too & people looked @ us like we were crazy.....until we were almost out of the park & then Priceless reaction from a family coming into the park........
